Are you 14-17 years old and up for a challenge? 

Held at the Royal Marine Reserve, Merton Road, Wandsworth.

Royal Marines, Harlequins RFC, BeMilitaryFit and Powerleague in cooperation with the Metropolitan Police, the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service deliver 6 challenges through sports, martial arts, outdoor pursuits and physical fitness training throughout the day.

Challenges cover topics such as: nutrition, self-defence, endurance, mental strength and self-esteem, embodying the characteristics of the Royal Marines: Courage, Determination, Unselfishness and Cheerfulness. Inspiration of potential careers within the Armed Forces and Public Services is given to youths from across several schools who attend the event, alongside cadets.



Royal Marines

The Royal Marines are the UK's Commando Force and the Royal Navy's own amphibious troops. They are an elite fighting force, optimised for worldwide rapid response and are able to deal with a wide spectrum of threats and security challenges. Fully integrated with the Royal Navy's amphibious ships, they can be deployed globally without host nation support and projected from the sea to conduct operations on land. A key component of the Royal Navy's maritime security function, they provide a unique capability and are experts in ship-to-ship operations.

Royal Marine Reserve

Wandsworth Police Cadets

T he Volunteer Police Cadets is the nationally recognised police uniformed youth group throughout England & Wales and in Scotland known as Police Scotland Youth Volunteers. Volunteer Police Cadets operates in every force across England & Wales with Scotland being known as Police Scotland Youth Volunteers but still operating under the same principles. The purpose of the VPC is not to recruit police officers of the future, but to encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship amongst its members, however many young people join the Police Service.

The Harlequin Rugby Club

The Harlequin Football Club is a professional English rugby union team that plays in the top level of English rugby, the English Premiership. Their ground in London is the Twickenham Stoop. They were one of the founding members of the RFU.
